“He Ain’t a Kitty, He’s my BROTHER!” National Siblings Day

Ok, so he IS  a kitty! But….he is still my brother!! I don’t know what I would do without him. Since Cody wakes Dad up for breakfast and whines at all of our meals, without Cody, I would probably never know when mealtime is!

Wouldn’t it be great if the rest of the world loved each other no matter what their physical appearance or ethnicity?

Humans sure have a lot to learn from us!

Mischief of the not-so-fun kind

Hi all! It’s Dakota and I wanted to give a bark out today for my kitty brother Cody. Some of you know he isn’t feeling well right now.

It started late last week when he wouldn’t eat.

That is a concept that I just don’t understand.

Before I knew it, Cody was being whisked away in his carrier to, of all places,  the VET!! That didn’t bother me at first, it bothered me when Mom and Dad came home. I ran to the door excited to greet my brother, when I went to sniff the carrier to give him a kiss, he wasn’t there.

This had never  happened before.

My sensitive Sheltie heart sunk. I looked for him everywhere. I slept by his carrier, hoping with all of my heart that when I woke up, Cody would be there.

This was mischief of the most unexpected and not-so-fun kind!

After waiting for what seemed like forever, Cody DID come home! I smothered him with my special Sheltie kisses that are designed to heal anything and everything.

Cody is still not feeling well, I guess I need to give him some more kisses and see if that helps.

For those of you woofies who don’t like, or, don’t UNDERSTAND cats. My brother is my BEST friend! We love each other, we plan mischief together, we wait for Mom and Dad to come home together.

Please say a prayer that my kitty brother will be ok.

I can’t imagine my life without him.

Dog and Cat Buddies!

This was sent to me by my friend C.Hawley and I thought it was so cute that I had to share!

Look carefully in each picture for the cat

as it makes its way

down from the roof to the dog.

Then check the explanation at the end.
The story behind this picture is this:

Every day – at the same time – she waits for him.
Sometimes she barks to call him.
He comes; they rub and greet each other
and they go for a walk. They have done
this for 5 years and no, they don’t belong to the
same owners. The owners didn’t know until
neighbors seeing them together so frequently
commented to the cat’s owner, who then followed
the dog home which was a distance away – not
in a house close or next door.
How it started no
one knows.
