One Special Woofie

Mom and I were reading blogs today and our hearts broke when we learned that our dear furiend, Mr. Jack Freckles, had to go to the bridge.

He lived in Michigan like we do, and he was having health trouble for a while. We thought he would be ok but are deeply saddened to learn he has left us.

His Mom is always doing special things for so many in the blogging community, if you click on the photo (that we stole from their blog), you will be taken to their blog where you can leave Mr. J’s Mom some words of comfort.

Run free sweet boy……….you will be deeply missed by so many.

Barks and licks and love (and much sadness)

Dakota and Mom

  19. Thanks from the bottom of petcretary’s heart for this lovely tribute post, Dakota.
Thanks for all those kind comments above, too.

Soon a post will go up…when those leaky eyes dry up a bit…

That picture/memento you ‘used’ is the fave of petcretary’s handiwork. She says it represents me with all the furry critters (well, some of them…)that I chased or caught when they trespassed in my yard. Now they are all angels, playing and chasing in fun, and good health.

Thanks to your Mommy, Dakota for the email and her kind encouraging words.

  21. Aw, poor little Jack 🙁 I remember when our dogs had to “go to the bridge”… The second one (my parents now have two others), “went to the bridge” when I was at home. It’s like she waited for me to come home to visit in order to do so. It was heartbreaking.
