A Dog Treat Give-Away from Zuke’s® !!!

Hi all! It’s Dakota and I am just spinning with excitement about what I have to share with you today! Many of you who have been long time readers of my blog  know quite well that when I LOVE something I STICK with it! I am that way with the food that I eat, and I am the same with treats! Sure, I will show you treats here and there that strike my fancy, or that I think you will be interested in learning about, (or both!!), but my FAVORITE things to share with you are food and treats that Mom has pawed out the cash for from her OWN pocket that were staples in our household, LONG before we were presented with the opportunity, (as we have been with Zuke’s,) to tell YOU about them! It is a pleasure to review and share with you products THAT WE USE EVERY DAY!!

Zuke’s treats, specifically Lil’ Links, have been a staple in our house for MONTHS AND MONTHS!!  (We purchase ours at Petco,  but they are available at many other places and online, check out their handy store locator.) We first discovered Zuke’s from reading blogs that we follow, (I honestly don’t remember whose it was,) but the more Mom and I read about Zuke’s the more we KNEW we had to try their treats. Once I tasted them, I was HOOKED!

Why Zuke’s?

Because  Zuke’s Loves Theirs and Our pets!

It started with a guy named Patrick and his dog named Zuke. Now two decades later, pets everywhere can live a healthy, happy, active lives thanks to Zuke’s.

Anyone who’s experienced an aha! moment can perfectly recollect the date, time and place that the proverbial light bulb went off. For Patrick Meiering, it was the Summer of 1995 on a hike in the Colorado Mountains outside Durango. Partrick’s trusty companion, a two-year-old chocolate lab named Zuke had become exhausted once they reached the summit. Patrick had an energy bar for himself, but nothing for Zuke so he broke off a piece of his energy bar and tossed it to him. Zuke perked right up and there it was, the moment Patrick realized that pets need healthy all-natural treats, just as much as people do. Patrick returned home full of inspiration and made the first Zuke’s treat, an energy bar called PowerBones. Now, 20 years later we have healthy, natural and nutritious treats for every dog, not just mountain climbers like Zuke.

The treats that Mom buys are shown below, I AM CRAZY about them!!!

Zukes Lil Links Group

The treats in the photo are Lil’ Links and they are the treats that Mom uses to put in my treat dispenser when she and Dad leave the house. Mom says that the second she opens the bag, they smell SOOOOO good that SHE wants to eat them!!! Paws off Mom!!!

Zukes Dakota Lil Links Love

They are great to use as a reward, or for putting in your treat dispenser like Mom does! (Mom breaks them in half and packs ’em in!!) The consistency is perfect because I have to work to get them out, and since I am a “working” dog, it is a way to make “work” FUN!!

There is even MORE FUN in store for you!!! Zuke’s has come out with a NEW line of treats, that are perfect to use for training and for small breeds!!! THEY ARE BRAND SPANKIN’ NEW and I am so excited to show them to you! They are super tasty too!

New Zuke’s® Tiny Naturals™ Grain-Free, Low-Calorie Treats are Perfect for Small Breeds

Zuke’s® Mini Naturals™, the leading treat for dog trainers across the country, just got smaller… tiny in fact! At a new low-calorie count of less than 1 ½ calories per treat, Zuke’s® Tiny Naturals™ are designed for small breeds (but are also great for medium-sized dogs like me!!),  and are perfect for delivering rewards frequently when training. Little dogs have to be extra careful about the calories they consume, and these tiny treats are perfect for their tiny tummies!! Mom is going to be using these treats to encourage me to take more walks. She wanted something small that she wouldn’t feel bad about giving to me frequently while walking, because she doesn’t want me to get fat!
