Pick up your poop with Catch-a-Poo !!! Enter to Win!

Hi all! It’s Dakota and today I have a super innovative product to show you! In full disclosure, I didn’t pawsonally test it, nor were we compensated for this feature/give-away, and we did NOT receive this product.  Last November when Mom was at the Miami-Ft.Lauderdale Pet Expo, Mom got to see it in action! She SAW with her own eyes that it WORKS!  Mom thinks this product is super cool! She got to talking to the gentlemen at the booth that were exhibiting the product, they were SUPER nice so  Mom told them if they wanted to be featured on my blog to give her a bark out and they did! So, today I am introducing you to the amazing Catch-a-Poo!

How did Catch-a-Poo come to be?

When Mom met the nice man from Catch-a-Poo he told her that  he started working on the Catch-a-Poo right after  his  Great Dane dog, “Buddy”,  joined his family!! For obvious reasons, he was determined to create a product that would catch the dog poo before hitting the ground!

What is the Catch-a-Poo?

The Catch-a-Poo is a lightweight portable device that actually catches the

poo before it hits the ground. When retracted it is approximately 19 inches

long and when extended it is approximately 34 inches long. A flashlight

attaches to the handle for nighttime use. The weight of the Catch-a-poo with

the flashlight attached is less than one pound.

It works for BIG Dogs!!

The Catch-a-Poo eliminates the need to bend over and pick up dog poo with your

hand in a bag. It is great for the environment since it captures 100% of the

poo. The device fits multiple size bags and retails for less than $20. How can ya beat THAT?

  4. Emma says:

LOL! We thought this was a joke! Wouldn’t work real well for us as we are short and with the snow, there is no space for such a contraption between our little behinds and the snow. Mom has picked up so much poo and scooped so many litter boxes in her lifetime, it doesn’t phase her a bit to pick it up, but we know many humans find it disgusting and this may be the solution they are waiting for. Thanks for the info…what will they think of next?

  5. that is totally weird …… we never do the poop thing out in public – we will hold it until we are home and safely in our backyard but that thing would scare Denny if Mom went anywhere near him with it.

  6. Two French Bulldogs says:

That’s pretty cool. We would like to leave this at a neighbors door

  7. BOL! That Catch-a-Poo is hilarious! I guess it is a good idea especially for those who do not want to bend over to scoop the poop!

  10. Our family loves dogs. We used to have one long before my. Time. When M and D I
Used to walk Fritz, they always scoped up after him. It makes M so mad when people let their dog poopinn yards and then just keep on walking without ,eeping up. M said I coud do a post and reference your blog, if you don’t mind.

OMG, this is hilarious! WIll it work for dogs who walk and poop at the same time (I have one of those dogs)? I’m just not sure I’d be coordinated enough to use this. It almost becomes a sport – like making a basket! I am just not a sporty person.

Great idea though, and if you have problems bending over, then you should definitely get one. I think men would really like this. Maybe if I called it a ‘tool’, I could get Jeff to use it.

  17. We are going to have to look for that in stores!

  18. That’s a very interesting concept- we are happy that we have a backyard to use most of the time- and mom uses two kitty litter scoopers to clean the yard. Our leashes have a big dispenser but we’re usually nice to mom and dad and don’t go on our walks.

  25. I used to place the bag under Chewy’s butt right before he started pooping, but if it touched his tail fluff, he would get annoyed and sometimes walk away, so I stopped. This looks great! If only they could make it tie the bag, too, to eliminate any chance of catching a whiff!

Hi there, Firstly thank you for your kind words concerning my upcoming surgery; I appreciate your thoughts!
This sounds like an interesting tool, perfect for lazy dog owners. In our area, so many people do not pick up the poop, even though we have bags and garbage bins around. Great review.
